Alterna Exhibits at FAHRO 2010 Show on Affordable Housing

Visit their Website.For the second consecutive year, Alterna exhibited at the Florida Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (FAHRO) 2010 Annual Convention and Trade Show, which took place at the Hilton Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando on August 10-12th. Over 200 affordable and government housing officials from across the State of Florida attended the FAHRO show.
At the event, Alterna featured its water conservation products and solutions, including Caroma dual flush toilets and SSI Tapware high efficiency faucets and shower systems. These products help housing authorities save money on their water, energy and maintenance costs, thereby ensuring a high return on investment. South Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council Names Alterna as Finalist for 2010 LEEDership Awards

Alterna is proud to be a finalist for the 2010 LEEDership Awards, which will be presented by the South Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) at the Chapter’s GalaVerde event on August 28, 2010. Alterna is a finalist in the competitive Outstanding Green Business category of the LEEDership Awards. Other finalists for this category include the Spinnaker Group, Pirtle Construction and Dream in Green. Other LEEDership Award categories include Outstanding Green Government, Outstanding Green Elected Official and LEED project categories like New Construction, Commercial Interiors and more. Alterna Exhibits at the MiaGreen 2010 Expo
and Conference

For the second consecutive year, Alterna Corp. exhibited at the MiaGreen Expo and Conference, which was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on February 25-26, 2010.
